In the early sixteenth century, Europe is torn by religious differences and bloody battles. Albrecht von Adler, the son of a German lord, is puzzled by the steadfast convictions, unshakable courage, and uncanny peace of one radical outlaw religious group known as the Anabaptists.

  Jesse Farrell and his family are moving. Jesse is excited to leave the big city and live on a farm in the middle of the mountains. But he’s also a little scared to leave the only home that he’s ever known.
